In Lethal Mode, all hits matter. Most of the time you are two to three hits from death, and depending on your equipment and who you are fighting, you can die from a single strike. Technically speaking, the damage done to you is twice that of the medium difficulty setting. Difficulty level is a gameplay mechanism in Ghost of Tsushima. It affects the degree of challenge in the game. It is freely adjustable throughout the game, and there are no Trophies bound to a certain game difficulty. Ghost of Tsushima is harder than Sekiro, if you set GOT difficulty to max and do not use any upgrades. Sekiro you can cheese most of boss fights in game. Enemy patterns become predictable.
